The Sumatran tiger

The Sumatran tiger is one of the most endangered species. This remarkable animal is at high risk of extinction because of poaching and severe deforestation in Sumatra.

Can you imagine that in your child’s life time the Sumatran tiger could disappear? The number of Sumatran tigers is degreasing and the forests in Sumatra are getting smaller every day. The number of Sumatran tigers now existing in the forest is between 250-400 tigers left in the forests of Sumatra. In 20-30 years the Sumatra forest will disappear and all the wildlife existing there will suffer dramatically changes. The future of the Sumatran tiger spices doesn’t look so bright.

Please help save the Sumatran tigers and create a better tomorrow for nature!

„Și v-am spus povestea așa”

„Si v-am spus povestea așa” aduce laolaltă basme clasice romănești (cele cu Aleador Împărat, Harap Alb, alături de întreagă grupare de feți-frumoși, cai năzdrăvani, împărați și fete de împărați) și unește în mod miraculos poveștile lor într-una mare, un basm superlativ, care conține umor și vraja povestirii. Cine iubeşte basmele româneşti le va regăsi aici, „aduse la zi“ printr-o rescriere originală și amuzantă – din care vom află că toate poveştile faimoase ale literaturii române sunt, de fapt, una singură, şi că drumurile eroilor lor s-au întretăiat adesea în chipuri neaşteptate.

Jumanji

În lumea în care trăim, o lume a gageturilor, o lume în continua dezvoltare, nimeni nu mai dă atenție jocurilor de tablă. „Jumanji” se dezvoltă pe două planuri din decenii diferite: cel prezent și cel al anilor 70.

„Jumanji”, cum ajung să afle și personajele principale (Allan, Sarah, Judy și Peter), este un joc pentru o viață, la propriu… Acesta transpune protagonistul în jungla de unde poate fi scos doar de tinerii din zilele noastre. Toate lucrurile din lunglă aduse într-un oraș (plante carnivore, insecte ucigașe, animale masive și un vânător de oameni) pot dispărea doar la finalizarea jocului. Aceasta este o provocare pentru personajele de toate vârstele aduși împreună de „Jumanji”.

Până la această dată, Ziua Naţională a României era 23 august. Atunci se sărbătorea Ziua Insurecţiei Armate Antifasciste, cu referire la întoarcerea armelor împotriva Germaniei naziste şi arestarea guvernului condus de Ion Antonescu în 1944. Iar înainte de această dată, Ziua Naţională a României se celebra la 10 mai, pentru a marca proclamarea independenţei de stat a României, dar şi transformarea Principatelor Romane Unite în Regatul României. Alegerea zilei de 1 decembrie a făcut trimitere la Unirea Transilvaniei, Banatului, Crişanei şi Maramureşului cu România, în 1918, respectiv la Proclamaţia de la Alba Iulia. Ziua de 1 Decembrie 1918 încununează lupta românilor transilvaneni pentru Unitate Naţională şi marchează momentul creării României Mari, situându-se în continuarea precedentelor acţiuni unioniste din Basarabia (27 martie 1918) şi Bucovina (15 / 28 noiembrie 1918)

She was broken into pieces, she was dead all together,
She would rain from her eyes, despite the TV telling the weather.
She was running too fast and fell into the dark,
And her soul got comfortable, as her eyes lost their spark.

But she told me about the ocean, how the waves would bark,
She wanted to live there, afraid of no shark;
She said the white bubbles let her heart rest,
That when she was diving, she was at her mental best.

She told me she always loved to look at the stars,
She wished she could catch them, store them in jars,
But she knew she’ll never reach the, being so far away,
So she looked at the stars in the ocean every day.

She felt so protected inside the water of the sea,
Said that she would give up anything forever here to be;
I thought she was exaggerating, until last night,
When she ran into the ocean, and disappeared out of sight.

Understanding the Reality about Our Planet

We need to understand the reality about our planet in order to save it. In our day’s people don’t really thing about the environment before throwing a piece of plastic on the ground, but think twice before you do that, because a tiny piece of plastic can cause a lot of problems to the earth surface.

One of the most dangerous pollution effect is global warming. This is a real problem that could have a lot of consequences, so let me explain more about the cause of global warming. It is caused by extreme climate. The extreme climate is consequence of pollution that can damage the balance between the seasons.

Now, let’s talk about the serious problems that will appear in the future if we keep polluting our planet. Many species of animals are in critical danger of extinction along with our most beautiful destinations that are created by nature such as the tropical rainforests. Did you know that rainforests are producing more than 40% of the oxygen from the whole earth?

As a conclusion, rainforests are helping our planet a lot, but we are obligating them to support the extreme pollution. Never forget to recycle and help save our planet!

Elaborează o listă cu tot ceea ce ai de făcut. În cazul în care ești genul de persoană boemă, șansele să nu poți face tot ceea ce îți propui sunt destul de mari. Dacă nu îți planifici ziua, nu îți vei putea organiza prioritățile, ceea ce face mai ușor să “sări dintr-un loc într-altul” fără a realiza ceva. Deci, cel mai bun lucru pe care îl poți face este să faci o listă cu tot ceea ce vrei să faci într-o anumită zi. Ocupă-te în primul rând de sarcinile urgente.  Pe măsură ce îndeplinești ceea ce ți-ai propus, pune un semn de “bifat” pe hârtie și astfel vei simți că devii din ce în ce mai productiv.

Ține-te departe de orice sursă de distragere a atenției. Acestea vin sub mai multe forme: primirea de telefoane nesolicitate sau inutile, persoanele care vă vizitează la birou, internetul, emisiunile TV, discuții pe marginea unor subiecte emotive și lista poate continuă. Adevărul este că aceste surse vor fi cu tine oriunde ai fi, deci nu le poți evita pur și simplu. Ce poți face însă este să le ignori. De aceea e necesar să îți prioritizezi activitățile. Astfel, vei deveni mai concentrat asupra a ceea ce este important și vei fi determinat să nu te lași prins în mreaja irosirii timpului.

Începe să îți fixezi termene limita pentru a îndeplini unele sarcini. Este de multe ori de necrezut cât de mult timp pierdem cu ducerea la bun sfârșit a unor sarcini care altfel erau ușor de îndeplinit. Un bun exemplu în acest sens ar putea fi scrierea sau citirea unui mail, ori verificarea mesageriei vocale. Ne place să facem aceste lucruri, însă înainte să ne dăm seama, timpul trece prea repede. Cel mai bun antidot este să îți fixezi un termen limită până la care să duci la îndeplinire o anumită sarcină. Scrierea unui email ar trebui să dureze cel mult 5 minute, citirea mailurilor nu mai mult de 10 minute și așa mai departe. Atunci când ai un dead-line, poți să te concentrezi mai mult pe realizarea sarcinilor înainte de a-ți da seama că este prea târziu.

Probabil că cel mai bun sfat pe care cineva vi-l poate da este să nu va irosiți timpul. După cum știți, timpul trecut nu se mai întoarce, deci orice secundă pierdută aiurea este ceva cu care nu vă veți mai întâlni. Adună-te și dă-ți toată silința pentru a fi mai productiv!

The Memory of Water ?

Information about water and its peculiarity were studied by a chines author and researcher Masaru Emoto.He claimed that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. His early work explored his belief that water could react to positive thoughts and words, and that polluted water could be cleaned through prayer and positive visualization.

Since 1999, Emoto published several volumes of a work entitled Messages from Water, which contain photographs of ice crystals and their accompanying experiments. Emoto’s ideas appeared in the movie What the Bleep Do We Know!?Masaru Emoto.jpg

Emoto claimed that different water sources would produce different crystalline structures when frozen. For example, he claimed that a water sample from a mountain stream when frozen would show structures of beautifully-shaped geometric design, but those structures would be distorted and randomly formed if the sample were taken from a polluted water source. Emoto believed that these changes could be eliminated by exposing water to ultraviolet light or certain electromagnetic waves.

Commentators have criticized Emoto for insufficient experimental controls and for not sharing enough details of his approach with the scientific community.William A. Tiller, another researcher featured in the documentary What The Bleep Do We Know?, states that Emoto’s experiments fall short of proof, since they do not control for other factors in the supercooling of water.In addition, Emoto has been criticized for designing his experiments in ways that leave them prone to manipulation or human error influencing the findings.

Emoto’s book The Hidden Messages in Water was a New York Times best seller.[25][26] Commenting on the book making the list, literary critic Dwight Garner wrote in The New York Times Book Review that it was one of those “head-scratchers” that made him question the sanity of the reading public, describing the book as “spectacularly eccentric.”[26] Publishers Weekly described Emoto’s later work The Shape of Love as “mostly incoherent and unsatisfying”.

Did you ever think how your cellphone works? Have an idea about it because you use it every day. Lets take a closer look

A cell phone, aka mobile phone, uses a radio wave to transmit and receive information. This is usually a low power radio wave that transmits through the air. When you speak into the phone, your voice gets converted into an electric signal. That electrical signal is sometimes converted to a digital signal, sometimes its not depending on the phone. The signal is modulated to on a radio wave that is transmitted out in space.A cell tower picks up your radio wave and sends it through the communication infrastructure to the number you called. Your phone number and everyones phone number is like an address.
