A great day in school

A joyful day in our schoolyard :

Yleislääkäri ohjaa tarvittaessa joko yths:n omalle erikoislääkärille tai erikoissairaanhoitoon. Saatavilla on useita hyviä, jokaiselle sopivia kirjoja, joiden tarjoamat neuvot voivat auttaa ongelman ratkaisemisessa. Apteekkisuomen.com bändi ei ole vain perseestä, vaan “vitun syvältä” sieltä, eikä “haise hyvältä”.

We scare hunger!

4   Before this Halloween, let’s hold a food drive in our school and bring non-perishable food items. Then, we are going to drop them off at a local food bank or help children from a village nearby.

Let’s join those who have been striving for years in many countries to help people in need :

It takes a real hero to stand up to hunger.

What is Cyberbullying?!

main_logo

Cyberbullying – means that people use technology to harm or harass other people such as: mean text messages or emails,  posted on social networking sites, or embarrassing pictures, videos, websites, or fake profiles.

 Effects of Cyberbullying:

Cell phones and computers themselves are not to blame for cyberbullying. Social media sites can be used for positive activities, like connecting kids with friends and family, helping students with school, and for entertainment. But these tools can also be used to hurt other people. Whether done in person or through technology, the effects of bullying are similar.

Kids who are cyberbullied are more likely to:

  • Use alcohol and drugs
  • Skip school
  • Experience in-person bullying
  • Be unwilling to attend school
  • Receive poor grades
  • Have lower self-esteem
  • Have more health problems

You can prevent this together with parents and school

Report it when it happens

Poverty in Romania (part 2)

The  European Commission website has  statistics about the poverty in Europe.

According to these statistics,  Romania has the  highest rate of poverty and social exclusion in the European Union

Last year in the European Union, 124.5 million people or 24.8 percent of the population were at risk of poverty or social exclusion, up from 24.3 percent in 2011 and 23.7 percent in 2008.

In Romania, about  42 percent of citizens  fell into one of these groups, according to the Eurostat study we mentioned above.
