Wonderful initiative of Shining Stars

In the last day of school before Christmas Holiday, all students were anxious to go home and relax after a pretty tiring semester. However, in one of the classes, four girls were working hard; they had the idea to paint stones and sell them to the teachers. They’ve got some money and they were excited to use it right after school.

Ilinca, Alma, Meda, Antonia and Brianna , together with their teachers Sorina Badea and George Rotaru, deserve our encouragement and support for this kind of initiatives.

Students’ Christmas cards (GIMP)

At ICT, we used the selection tools, move, scale, rotate, clone, etc ( GIMP) in order to put together different pieces creating a card :

Giorgia’s hard work to crop all these images and put them together into this card, is amazing!

Tech. Ed. Imagination

At Tech. Ed. , grade 6 students wrote words with metal wire and inserted them on a sort of card
We also combined different materials such as metal, wood, textiles:

Alexia and Lia worked one hour to create this art using a mixture of materials

Yasmine is – as usual – imaginative and detail oriented .

Grade7 students created plastic bookmarks as in the next example and grade 5 started to work on the recycling bins ( except Sara who did the drawing below):

Crystal water

“Oh, crystal water,

Why are you a shiny water?”

Magic water

– I am good at making cherries,

Santa

Ho, ho ,ho!

Who’s there?

It’s Santa!

I thought he was drinking Fanta!

But he is now giving presents

Food or clothes to the poor pheasants!

Ho, ho, ho !

Snow apple

While I was free,

Climbed in an apple tree,

I felt hungry.

There were lots of red apples,

But also a light blue apple.

– Why are you blue, apple? I said.

– Shan’t you be red?

-I must know apple

Good for medicine.
