Here are some simple steps that can help cut annual emissions of carbon dioxide by thousands of pounds.

Home Appliances:

  • Run your dishwasher only with a full load.Use the energy saving setting to dry the dishes. Don’t use heat when drying. Carbon dioxide reduction: 200 pounds per year.
  • Wash clothes in warm or cold water,not hot. Carbon dioxide reduction:(for two loads a week): up to 500 pounds per year.

Jawbreakers

If you don’t know what a jawbreaker is, it’s a really hard ball that is really sweet. It’s made 90% out of sugar and it’s really tasty. But if you do eat them don’t do it anymore. Jawbreakers are also made out of eaten gum that was found on the floor and cleaned! Only some videos show this and the others say its “secret”. The gum makes it harder and sweeter. Jawbreakers are white but have many layers of different colored flavors. Each layer takes 20 minutes to make and in total there are 20 layers. The flavors are chemically made and are very bad for your health. It also takes flower and a lot of bad chemical things. 1 jawbreaker takes 4 days to make! But it is really tasty This is what it looks like:
