Wonderful initiative of Shining Stars
In the last day of school before Christmas Holiday, all students were anxious to go home and relax after a pretty tiring semester. However, in one of the classes, four girls were working hard; they had the idea to paint stones and sell them to the teachers. They’ve got some money and they were excited to use it right after school.
Ilinca, Alma, Meda, Antonia and Brianna , together with their teachers Sorina Badea and George Rotaru, deserve our encouragement and support for this kind of initiatives.

Students’ Christmas cards (GIMP)
At ICT, we used the selection tools, move, scale, rotate, clone, etc ( GIMP) in order to put together different pieces creating a card :
Tech. Ed. Imagination
At Tech. Ed. , grade 6 students wrote words with metal wire and inserted them on a sort of card
We also combined different materials such as metal, wood, textiles:
Grade7 students created plastic bookmarks as in the next example and grade 5 started to work on the recycling bins ( except Sara who did the drawing below):

Grade 3 is always inspired in Arts, Poetry, Crafts; the students and their teachers are amazing.

THANK YOU for the food donated last month
The next card is for all students and parents who were so kind to donate food last month for our ” We Scare Hunger” project.
Your food was given to Father John Dawnie (working at Saint Nicolas Church known as Biserica Universitara or Biserica Rusa near Universitate) who was glad to distribute it to a few members of his Parish Community.
He Thanks all of you on behalf of the children and parents who were helped now, before Christmas. They are very grateful .
We want to keep our positive thinking and love for all people throughout the year! Thank you for helping us to do it.

Multumim tuturor celor care au adus la scoala dulciuri/mancare ambalata ca raspuns la initiativa noastra ” We Scare Hunger” din luna Octombrie. Produsele donate au ajuns la Preotul John Dawnie de la Biserica Universitara ( Rusa), care, cu bunavointa obisnuita s-a oferit sa ne ajute.
El multumeste in numele celor nevoiasi care au primit aceste daruri acum, inainte de Marea Sarbatoare a Craciunului.
Dorim sa pastram o simtire pozitiva, de iubire ; multumim ca ne-ati ajutat in acest sens.
